7th March - Radiotherapy

Dear readers,

Just a quick update to let you know that dad is halfway through his second week of a 4 week course of radiotherapy. We suspect this will be "kill or cure" and I will give you more information when I can. We've been told he will get much worse before he gets better and he's already found he's a lot weaker since starting.

Thank you again for your kind words and thoughts

Catherine

Always thinking of Bill and you, Catherine. Thank you for your latest post. Please give your dad our best wishes. If I could, I'd send a card, all the way from Idaho.

Hi, Bill and Catherine,

Linda H-F here in Daly City (Near San Francisco, California USA)

Thinking & praying for you. Be strong... holding you in love and gratitude for all the work you did for us.... radiation is nasty but it really is 'kill or cure' - and we hope you come back to us only a little worse for wear, just like Harry.

Sending you my best wishes Bill. If good thoughts help, then you'll be up and about in no time. You've a lot of on-line friends.

Hi, Catherine and Bill,

Continuing to send good thoughts, prayers & wishes your way.

If you think of it, it would help us to have dates on your posts as we have no way of knowing when tx started... or what half-way looks like.

Hoping its ALL OVER now and that the weakness wasn't too bad.... been there with friends who have survived it... hope this will zap it or at least make you more comfortable.
